How do I properly care for my jewelry?
To keep your permanent jewelry looking its best, it's essential to care for it properly. Gently clean your pieces with a soft, lint-free cloth to remove any dirt or residue. Avoid exposing your jewelry to chemicals. With the right care, your permanent jewelry will remain a beautiful cherished accessory for years to come.
Can permanent jewelry be removed?
Yes! Your jewelry can simply be removed with scissors at the welding point. We are able to re-weld jewelry purchased through Edge of Texas Silver for a $10 charge (for Sterling Silver or 14k Gold Fill) or $25 (for Solid Gold). Please book the service via DM or email.
What if my jewelry breaks or stretches?
Though durable, jewelry is not invincible — so if your piece stretches or breaks, please hang onto the chain and schedule a repair.
We offer 1 complimentary repair within 30 days of your initial appointment. Any additional repairs beyond 30 days may have a small fee (to cover the cost of materials/labor) which can only be determined in person when we view your chain.
Please note: if your chain is stretched out beyond repair or contains multiple breaks (for example, if it was caught on something), a new chain may need to be purchased. We will work with you to find the most cost-effective solution!
